- Now at the pinnacle of her career, Tara VanDerveer led the Olympic women's basketball team to win the gold medal in the 1996 Summer Games. She is the head coach of the NCAA national champions, the Stanford Cardinal. Named for the third consecutive year as the District VIII Coach of the Year, she was named Pac-10 Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year. She was honored as the James Naismith National Coach of the Year, as well as the Converse National Coach of the Year.

Coach VanDerveer highlights the high-low offense, which is broken down into its many components, and rebuilt. She stresses proper offensive form and techniques for each position. Various combinations of shooting, running, passing, dribbling, and conditioning drills are included.
